Meet Stephanie Harris

ServSafe Approved Instructor

Stephanie “Stef” Harris, an Eastern Shore native, brings nearly 40 years of hands-on hospitality experience to every class she teaches. She start working in restaurants as a hostess and bus person and expanded to roles as a server, bartender, manager, trainer, and even restaurant owner.

Today she specializes in events and certification classes, sharing her industry knowledge and real-world insight with a warm, approachable teaching style that makes learning practical and engaging.

Question 1: What do I need for the class?

We take payment at the time of the in person class, by cash, check or money order. Checks can be made out to Harris Hospitality Partners LLC. Your books will be provided at the class. You don't need anything else during the class.

Question 2: How do I get my certification?

You will be given a final exam at the end of the class. Those exams are mailed out and within 1 - 2 weeks you will get the exam results with the 4 year certificate.

Question 3: How long is the class?

The class is 3 hours and must be taken in-person. Your certification will last 4 years.

Question 4: Can I host a class at my location?

Yes, we do have certain minimums of students for locations, so if you would like an instructor to come to you, fill out the form "Contact Us For A Private Class".
